Welcome to our blog

Hi everyone, we are the Keep On Moving team for this years Oxfam 100km Trailwalker event, August 28-30 in Sydney, Australia. For those not familiar with this event, its 500 teams of 4 mad, crazy people who plan to walk or run 100kms over 48 hours principally on the Great North Walk and the Harbour to Hawkesbury Walking Track in the bushland of northern Sydney.
Our team consists of Lisa Schofield (me, although I'll see if I can improve my blogging skills so we can all have a chat), Mia Callanan, Tracy Kennedy and our overseas contingent Katie Robinson who is mad enough to pay money to fly from NZ so she can get blisters like she's never seen before.
So this blog is going to be our personal record of our journey, visit weekly and you will become part of the extended Keep On Moving team, we need every little piece of support and encouragement we can get over the next 14 weeks. I'll post each week to catch you up on where we walked and will try and make it interesting so it's not just a "we walked, we ran, we ate, we drank, there was lots of bush..." kind of yarn. Next up will be a bit about each of us, my personal take on us that is. Thanks for taking a look, and pop us on your favourites (at least until the end of August) and remember to take a look most Mondays for an update on the last weeks walk. Oh, and if you want to visit our official Oxfam site then go to http://www2.oxfam.org.au/trailwalker/Sydney/team/179.

And remember stay tuned for more!!!
